Raised in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s, Anthony grew up in a very small town in southern Minnesota. He’s been in Minnesota his entire life, excepting his time in the US Navy. He served through Dessert Storm. He spent his adult life as an entertainer, a real estate owner, a restaurateur, and an owner of a small computer company.
And he writes!
He started writing in the mid 1970’s, and has to his credit 6 books, 4 movie scripts, many dozens of short stories, and over 100 songs – proving that you can get stuff done if you just don’t stop.
About 10 years ago, he started riding motorcycles for Gold Star Families in Minnesota. He was just another bike in the crowd. After 3 years, he went to the group’s organizers and suggested they find a way to go national. They all laughed and laughed. They said it could never happen.
So, ride he did. Ride he does. Many hundreds of families. Many thousands of miles. Dozens and dozens of stories from the road. Each one different from another.
And the first book about the families and the rides is now nearly a best seller!
