You know it's been a journey, but then I guess life is, and so I, I guess, at the very top I am a human female, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, all kinds of things like that.

I'm known as the ingredient guru, and I got to this point because a number of years ago I wound up getting very ill.

I live near Houston and we recently had a huge hurricane, hurricane barrel, and it shut down the city for a couple of weeks like it was really bad, and then the grocery stores, the shelves, were empty for several days and even when they reopened there were still a lot of empty spaces on the shelves.

If people didn't have what they wanted, it would be very, very difficult to be able to make a meal that you like, and in an emergency especially, you want that comfort.
