I am a brain injury survivor of 4 years, I once was a cake decorator as a side hobby and had to give that up because of the anxiety that comes along with a brain injury. I suffer headaches 24/7 and memory loss. I spent the first 3 years sitting back and letting the why me game take over. I spent endless nights searching YouTube for other survivors sharing their stories and struggles and how they deal with them. I never found what I was looking for. One day I complained to my counselor about it and she asked me why don't I do it? So then began the passion that I needed to stop sitting back and letting the invisible injury stay invisible. I began a podcast for survivors in December of 2023 and it has been uphill since then. My passion has continued to reignite and has inspired me to write a book that is currently being reviewed by a publisher. I am determined to continue to shine a light on the invisible injury known as a brain injury.
