In 2021, our family decided to set out on an adventure. Within three months, we had sold our house (in 3 days!), sold all our belongings and kept a few possessions. We left Canada with 9 suitcases and our carry ons. Since our arrival in the DR, I have started a new business, our daughter has been in school full time and my husband's writing career is flourishing. We, literally, strive for work, life balance.
