Speaker
On this episode we will talk with speaker, Meg Grett-Pratt; speaker and founder of Dating Tips by Meg, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower girls to recognize the early signs of dating abuse and stalking; through awareness violence and abuse can be prevented.
Meg speaks on college campuses and collaborates with other organizations to educate and inspire people to talk about dating abuse to prevent it from happening, and give victims in abusive relationships hope that life can go on after abuse.
Meg studied digital forensics initially to help victims of digital stalking, but realized she could reach and help more victims by sharing her experience and giving them the tools to prevent this from happening to them. Meg is currently working on her first book, a memoir- hoping to publish it summer of 2024. She also volunteers 4 nights a week for 2 victim crisis lines in Colorado.
In her free time Meg enjoys her summers in Colorado where she loves to lake kayak, spend time with her 2 children and travel.
If you’re interested in having Meg speak at your campus or event she can be found through her social media accounts Dating Tips by Meg, on her website at datingtipsbymeg.com or through LinkedIn.
