Calli Jensen

My name is Calli Jensen I was Born in Vancouver BC. At a very young age, I learned the value of becoming an Entrepreneur from my mom Judi. She is a pillar in my life and one of the hardest working women I know. She is the reason why I keep fighting. To build Our Beauty Referral Network and community. 

I started my entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16. I opened my own incorporated fishtank and pond cleaning company, also breeding reptiles and snakes. I have done everything from being in the Repo industry, working with seniors, working in pet stores, working in tanning salons, sold insurance, worked in catering and nightclubs. Even managed male entertainment at one point lol. The biggest impact in my life was when I found out in 2009 I had cervical cancer and also lumps in my breasts. For two years i was poked and prauded like a human pin cushion. It crushed my confidence and self esteem and ruined my relationship at the time. Making matters worse my employer threatened to fire me if I don't come to work the next day after my cancer treatment.

To this day, as funny as it sounds I'm grateful for that walk out. That day forced me to take entrepreneurship seriously. A few weeks later I was in business running my very own clothing store and building my own clothing brand!

Shortly after that and goin to court my past employer winning a settlement. I had an incident with some very bad people. It one moment i lost everything including somebody to take myself worth. Was taking advantage of and lost my condo that I bought at 24 years old.  My clothing store was shut down, My vehicle was stolen my condo was robbed.  It was to the point that I didn't feel safe in my own home.

I left Vancouver to save my life in 2013 and Drove to Toronto.  Since then i have driven across the country over 7 times many of which alone.

It took 7 years for me to return to my hometown and face what happened. It was the best decision I ever made leaving to heal the trauma and work on myself.

While in Toronto my partner at the time and I went on to work in the fashion industry. At the time also built a very successful direct sales team within the company winning numerous awards and accolades.

But i was miserable. Still not fulfilled

In 2019 i came back and have been building Our Beauty Referral Network and community ever since. This business has been created through many hardships as well as powerful lessons.  All my experience in sales and promoting other brands and companies has paid off to allow me to create a vision to support all small businesses in the beauty and health industry. Our customer driven referral program is designed to support both customers as well as business through our relationships and referral to eachother.
