42 year old woman with Type 1 Diabetes. Started college in 2000 and ended up leaving to become a hairstylist. Shortly after becoming a hair stylist went blind in 2003 and had to switch career paths. Became a s lounge singer and Karaoke DJ and in 2015 decided to go back to college to pursue a clinical mental health counselor's license. Is currently intening in a student counseling center and will graduate in May 2024
