Andy Wells is the author of "Tried to Be Straight - Options for Gay Christians." He is a survivor of, and an expert in the area of "conversion therapy," defined as a deliberate effort to change one's sexual orientation or desires through professional therapy. Andy holds a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics from Biola University.
Andy’s passion for the topics of sexuality and faith comes from his struggle for self-acceptance. The tension as a secretly gay man while a publicly born-again Christian marks his story of recovery and growth. He recently discovered his deep passion for helping others in the same struggle.
